Khatols, Khodus and Kurtas all feature in the long awaited second issue of chup! magazine, which hits newsstands today (Tuesday 13 May 2003).

The groundbreaking and controversial magazine, aimed at the 400,000 British Bengalis, is bursting at the staples with features and articles that will get you giggling and the oldies cringing.

Issue two of chup! is as contentious as ever, and covers divisive issues that other publications are too nervous to tackle. This issue follows the trail of Kamal Hussain, who has been looking high and low for his perfect woman, but all he finds is an empty wallet and a battered ego. Surma Rahman turns up the heat with her take on the thorny issue of the hypocrisy of men. “Smack My Bitch up” was the track that shot Shahin Badar in to the mainstream music arena; she kept a diary exclusively for chup! and what we read was too hot for us not too publish! And not forgetting the remarkable and beautiful Tasmin Khan, the hottest VJ on ZEE TV, who spoke to Jasmine, the Editor, about her life, loves and lecherous men…

Features also include:
No Sex in the City - trying to find Mr Right, Life at 30 - is it all downhill?, Men’s fashion - a basic guide, Women’s Fashion - what the designers are showing off, Wedding Fever - what to wear on your big day, Bengali Foibles - delving under the lunghi!, Bengali Associations - BritBangla, Life and Works - Rabindranath Tagore, a retrospective, Film and Book Reviews,, Matrimonials - find your perfect partner; Beauty - new cosmetics for Asian skin.

chup! magazine is out now and still only costs ?Ú?·1.75, so stop shaking those Khodus, and bouncing those Khatols, get to the shops before they all go!
