It’s complete! Last Wednesday, we finished the final work on DAREDEVIL.
After 6 years on a quest to bring this movie to the big screen, we
delivered 20th Century Fox the movie.
This past weekend, we had our first showings of the film to the real
world. Press from all over the United States and abroad came to
Pasadena for our two-day junket. On Friday and Saturday nights, we
screened DAREDEVIL to packed houses, and for us it was the first time
we experienced a real audience’s reaction. It was gratifying to hear
the cheers and laughs. The best news of all was that the positive buzz
about the film was genuine and huge. You can’t imagine how good that
makes us feel.
Shadow World, Daredevil’s radar sense, is a hit. This unique “sounds eye view” of DD’s perspective gives us a chance to show you how he experiences the world. Through his special skills, DD is able to use sound waves to illuminate the world around him. Because all his senses are heightened, he also uses Shadow World via smell. This is a ground breaking visual effect that is, frankly, very cool!
The group FUEL has made a terrific video, which is airing on MTV, M2, and other music video outlets. Another group THE CALLING is finishing up a video, which will also be released shortly. At the junket EVANESCENCE performed three songs that were received with big applause. DAREDEVIL the Album is now in stores. I think we have put together a wonderful CD that represents a real souvenir of the movie’s song experience.
The premiere gets closer every day. We are excited to share DAREDEVIL with you on February 14th. In the meantime, over at the official site there is lots happening with new sweepstakes and exciting content launching almost every day.
