Ever-Popular Device Now Available Optimized for North American Market

Nokia announced today that the highly anticipated Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is now available in the United States. The latest in Nokia’s XpressMusic range, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic delivers an affordable music device with a touch screen interface to the mass market.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic offers all the music essentials including a graphic equalizer, 8GB memory for up to 6000 tracks and support for all main digital music formats, and a 3.5mm jack. Built-in surround sound stereo speakers offer a powerful sound.

“When it comes to music phones, people all over the world want a device that is a great music experience and still works really well as a mobile phone, without sacrificing features,” said Ian Laing, Vice President, North America Sales, Nokia. “The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic delivers on this and has clearly proven to be a device that consumers are clamoring for – selling more than one million worldwide since its introduction a few months ago.”

Making the most of touch screen technology, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic delivers easy and fast access to all music, video and photos through a one-touch ‘Media Bar’ drop down menu. The Media Bar also offers a direct link to the Web and to online sharing. Because the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic supports Flash content, individuals can surf even more of the web.

The innovative ‘Contacts Bar’ lets people highlight four favorite contacts on their home-screen and, through a single touch, track a digital history of recent text messages, emails, phone logs, photos and blog updates.

Among the highest screen resolution available on a mobile phone, the 3.2″ widescreen display brings photos, video clips and web content to life in vibrant color and true clarity. With a 16 by 9 aspect ratio and 30 frames-per-second playback and recording, the device is ideal for VGA quality video recording and playback. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic also features a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens. With a single touch, images or videos can be shared via a favorite online community, such as Ovi Share, Flickr, or Facebook.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic offers a variety of input methods including a virtual alphanumeric keypad, a virtual computer-style QWERTY keyboard, a pen stylus — and for true music enthusiasts, you can even use a guitar pick.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be available for approximately 399 USD before taxes and subsidies in the U.S. through Nokia Flagship stores in New York and Chicago, nokiausa.com and independent retailers and e-tailers. For a limited time, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will also come with a 50 USD voucher for Amazon Video on Demand which allows you to download thousands of movies or TV titles as well as one month of free turn-by-turn voice guided navigation through Ovi Maps.

* Capacity based on 3 minutes, 45 seconds per song with 48 Kbps eAAC+ (M4A) encoding on the Nokia Music Manager.

Create a project in BPC-Screenplay and start a new scene, then write your dialogue, just as you would in a traditional movie script. BPC-Screenplay creates audio files of the dialogue and places them on a timeline. Then you can add images, music and effects and use the Media Player to watch scene by scene, or as a complete project. When you’re satisfied, print the script, or use BPC-Screenplay to show the work to your colleagues, clients and producers.

BPC-SCREENPLAY is a completely new approach to scriptwriting and the creative challenge of getting from an idea to a movie. At the Berlin Picture Company, we wanted a software tool that would show exactly how our concepts are building up to become a movie, while we are at work on the script. This means hearing the dialogue as audio and being able to watch the images, sketches and photographs of the visuals we envisage, as well as building a traditional script and keeping notes on characters, locations and the action in each scene.

Whether you work professionally on cinema films, tv programmes and commercials, or industrial and business productions, BPC-Screenplay provides a platform to demonstrate exactly what you have in mind, not only in relation to locations, but also the pacing and timing of the project as it develops.

Click above to go the website

The Debut Edition has been designed for screen-writers using a small laptop with Windows XP. The next edition, BPC-Screenplay Pro will be a larger programme, with a range of advanced features configured for specialist production requirements. Registered ‘Early Adopters’ will be offered an Euro50 discount when they purchase the Pro Edition, which we plan to release in 2008.

BPC-Screenplay Debut Edition can be downloaded for an ‘early adopter’ price of only Euros25.00 (German sales: Euros21,01 plus 19% MwST Euros3,99), or ordered on a memory stick (USB) for postal delivery for Euros50.00 (German sales: Euros42,02, plus 19% MwST Euros 7,98).

REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 6 NexTune announced the launch of the NexTune Music Network today along with its newest software release allowing an iTunes user to publish playlists onto its internet based music network.

NexTune’s latest software release Composer 1.5, is tightly integrated with Apple’s iTunes(TM) music software. Users can import their iTunes playlists into NexTune’s Composer to quickly transform an otherwise bland list of music into a well-developed music program. They can then easily publish their music program to NexTune’s Music Network where other Network members can download the music programs for their own enjoyment.

The NexTune Music Network allows its members to create their own music websites complete with their own music programs, commentary and pictures. Members can link to other members and share music interests and ideas. The NexTune Composer software is a desktop application that enables seamless interaction with its music network. Combined with the iTunes music software, users have a powerful set of tools to create very unique music experiences.

In this day of the iPod and music portability, NexTune’s Music Network provides users the ability to move their playlists from one computer to another or even to other users. Unlike simply listening to someone else’s playlist, NexTune allows the user to actually download the playlist to their computer. NexTune’s patent pending technology quickly matches the music listed in the playlist to the downloader’s own iTunes music library. Songs contained in the playlist that the user doesn’t have are easily identified due to the intuitive nature of the NexTune interface. The downloader can quickly purchase the missing songs from the iTunes music store, which is integrated with NexTune’s Composer software.

Membership in the NexTune Music Network is free along with its software. NexTune participates in a revenue share program by referring its members to the iTunes store and by featuring advertisements on its network.

About NexTune – NexTune Music Network is an online service that helps its members create digital music playlists, share playlists with their online network of friends, discover new music and download digital music. NexTune provides a place to socialize with other music enthusiasts in an interactive, user-submitted network of friends, personal profiles, commentary, photos and music. NexTune is a retail affiliate of the iTunes Music Store and provides direct access to music and features available exclusively from iTunes. NexTune also incorporates Google Advertising in order to provide a cost free, interactive environment for its members.
